F.R.E.E.D. is practical science.

Journalism never cared for academia. It shuddered at science, and even to this day, journalism covers science in an uncritical way, acting like cheerleaders and giving free advertising to any STEM-based story.

That is not what people need. They need facts.

And you do not find facts with a chip of opinion on your shoulder.

You have to look for information and verify it.

You have to approach it like both a scientist and detective: it is always something new to discover.

You do not know the answers with a couple of facts. You test facts and theories, looking to confirm or refute both.

It is practical science.

Not a weapon to shame people or destroy enemies. That's propaganda.

The atom of F.R.E.E.D. is the fact. Everything evolves from it.

The core is not narrative. It is verified and tested facts.

Nothing more...
